Not had chance to do an update for a while so thought I better throw one out there.
It's now just turned 5 months since I went over to Istanbul for the operation and I am really pleased with the results so far. I have spoken to other people who have had a similar operation and they said it was about 8 months before they got similar results so it looks like I am ahead of schedule.
I still feel like it is growing upwards and not laying flat as yet (if that makes sense). It feels really soft like baby hair and it just starting to bend/curl a little now so its not just a tufty spike lol. I am surprised how dark it is too if I'm honest as my hair has started getting quite a few grey hairs so I thought it might of been a lot greyer?
I have sent quite a few people over now for both hair transplants and for cosmetic dentistry and the clinic is kind enough to pay me a referral fee (which is nice).
My friend who I went with had his done at the same time as me and his hasn't grown as fast. Now this isn't a shameless product plug, but I have been on a 9-day program recently where you drink quite a lot of Aloe Vera and have also been using Aloe vera based shampoo and conditioner, with Jojoba (as recommended but the clinic) and a spray that contains a fine mist of aloe vera each day. This could simply be a coincidence but aloe vera is known to help skin, hair, and nails so I'm sticking with it.
