I woke up today with the intention of splitting my time effectively between the 3 main areas of my life: Work, The Virtual Tavern and my Personal Life and I think I pretty much succeeded. I find when things are out of balance it's because I am focused on one are in my life and neglecting the other two so I assigned two things from each area to get done today. I have my 3 big p[ads with muy mind maps on for each area but I haven't been focusing on them all recently. I sued to star 3 things from each before I went to bed so I knew what 3 things from each area I would focus on the following day. So I need to get back into the habit of doing that again.
Work - Clear all my emails & Start my Year End.
Once I actually started I managed to get quite a lot of it done. All my expenses are done and I now just need to go through each month checking I haven't missed Key things. Also, tomorrow I will set up a few scheduled expenses to go in automatically at £1 or something to prompt me each month to do it eg, Mileage Reclaim etc.
I will also aim to do April's expenses so that is another month done and I can try and stay on top of this years and do each month at the start of the next month.
The Virtual Tavern - Set up Admin Assist Scheduled Posts. Post upcoming Events and Draws for the month. I posted the initial one and have set up Admin Assist so that two reminders go in each day showing what we have coming up. This will take a bit of work off me but also by going in twice a day at different times, hopefully, more people will start to see them.
Personal - Make a start trying to dig out the plants in the front garden. This sounds easier than it is. When I tried to dig out the small one (with new spade) I seemed to get nowhere. So I had to settle for chopping it right back for now. At least it will be easier to get to now it's not so big.
The plan is to get all the plants out, put loads of weed killer down cos that bloody horsetail is taking over. Then I will put down another thick membrane followed by new slate and then I will just keep plants in large pots so I don't have this problem again :-/
Nipped up to Andy's to collec the seating box he has made for me for The Tavern. It can act as seating but also has storage inside. I just need to sand it down now and paint it white. I had planned to use my B&Q vouchers online so that I could get it via Easy Fundraising and help raise another donation for The Virtual Tavern but the paint sprayer I wanted is from a specific seller or something so you can't use your voucher. I will have to use them in-store for something else instead :-/
