Tasty Tasty Very Very Tasty

Updated: Mar 31, 2023

Woke up nice and early and did yoga with Layla at 7am again. The hardest bit is actually getting out of bed and omnce I am up I relly feel the benefit of daily yoga. You can feel muscles and joints being stretched that you probsbly don't normally use on a regular basis. I want to try and keep it up for at least a year and see if I can notice a difference in my physique and flexibility etc. If you haven't tried yoga before ge yourslef to a class and give it a try. I only do it at home at the moment because I find it easy to make escuses and not go the gym/yoga/zumba if I have to get ready and then travel there. The one we are doing at the moment is a 30 day challenge called Centre and is online with Adrienne on Youtube.

Straight after Yoga I headed over to my first Taste Testing of the dat trying an lmond milk alternative. We got to try it on some cereal so I had cherios and then drink it on it's own. There were two to try so I didn't need any breakfast byt the end of it lol.

Later on I got a free lunch cos I had to taste test vegan pizzas. Had 2 slices of cheese pizza and two slices of vegetable pizza with tow different brands of vegan cheese on. There was one that was pretty much like cheese except not very stringy, but the other had that artificial cheese taste like the kind you get on cheese puff type crisps (wotsits etc).

I know there is a big push at the momen to reduce the amount of meat and animal prodcuts we eat but I am not convinced yet that these processed and artificial alternatives are any better for us the the producs that they are replacing. I would love to be meat free and not have to kill animals for food and I just have to try not to connect what's on my plate with the cute things out in fields or I would never eat meat again. I know they are currently working on meat that can be grown from cells which will be just like the real thing without the need to kill animals etc. I would much rather eat this. I defo couldn't be vegan at the mo as I LOVE real cheese too much. We've already made leaps in developing new procucts so when things have moved on more I might consider it.

It was my last day hosting market research for the kids toys project and there was only one session today. It's sods law though on the day the moderator needed to get off early, both the participants were late :-/ Anyway the group went well an I think he got everything her needed from them.

Straight after he left I headed over to the Roebuck to meet Christine, Kath and a few others for dinner. I had the duck spring rolls for starter and then Salmon and dill mash with hollandaise sauce for main course. It ws only £17.95 for two course which was really good and it was really nice food. Drank blackcurrent and soda with my meal and only needed one pint cos it lasted me all the time I was there. I'm going to be saving money with this whole not drinking thing, so will be saving more money in my travel jar to pay for my trips. 1 Week in and I'm Loving it!
