My body just couldn't help but wake me up at 5am even though it was a bloody Sunday lol. I just stayed put until about 7:30am so that I didn't wake Viv and Sharron. Then I made myself a coffee and started packing my things ready for the journey home. Luckily the rain had stopped so I didn't get drenched on the walk to the tube station. Two tubes down and then I was on the National Express heading home.
The journey passed quickly as I had my noise-canceling headphones on and finished off Book number 10 and started book number 11. I definitely have an issue with sounds and noises as I tried to read my book on the coach and just couldn't concentrate because of all the conversations going on around me. Until I put on my headphones and had relaxation music on and then I could read just fine. I don't think I need to worry about achieving my goal of 12 books in 12 months. Finished The Velvet rage and started The Choice. It's taking a bit of getting into but hopefully, it will be worth it in the end.
In the past I would have hated the thought of a 5-hour coach trip, but now I am reading again I look forward to the time with nothing else to do but read.
Went straight to mums when I got home so I could collect Bella. I always really miss her little cute face when I am away, bless her. Her itching has started again though because I used some tinned food I had in the cupboard when I ran out of her usual stuff, Plus mum forgot to give her the meds that seemed to have been working for her.
Had an early night once I got home, as the long day traveling had worn me out.
