Spring Clean Saturday

Even though it's Saturday I still woke up at just before 5am. I don't know why I don't just get up as my body must have had enough sleep. I always end up feeling more groggy and tired when I say in bed longer and try to go back to sleep. I guess it is the weekend though so it;s not so mad getting up at 8 or 9am for a change.

The sun was glorious outside and I knew I had to get some washing done while it was nice out and I could air dry everything. I have been using the dryer lately as I don't have the hook on the shed facia to clip the washing line to. No more excuses though I fitted a screw to the inside where it was still wood and could clip the line to that. Next thing you know it's like a Chinese laundry service, not sure why they say that, is that a thing? Feels a bit racist or stereotyping? Anyway it was like a laundry company and I had 4 lots done, dried and piled up in no time(might leave the folding until tomorrow).

When I quickly glanced at the maiden I thought I was in the pic as it's my shirt and jeans underneath lol. I even got Ian i-hoover to join in and do upstairs while I sorted out downstairs.

He isn't a thorough as me but it's a bit of help and at least keeps on top of the carpets for me. He can mop too but I haven't tried that yet (only had him for about 2 years lol).

On the way to taking Bella out for a walk I noticed this gorgeous purple flower in one of my pots. Not sure how it got there as don't remember planting the seeds. That said though I often see some in garden centres and by them and just scatter them about and hope they grow.

Alexa and Fi messaged to find out my availability over the next few weeks as they still wanted to sort something out for my birthday. They had originally planned a murder mystery thing on a train but Carli had said it was quite a mind-taxing one and you really had to pay attention to everything to solve the clues. I know what our cumulative attention span is like so we decided to swerve that one lol. Instead, they have booked for us to go to a Zombie VR session next Friday followed by a visit to Karen's Diner. It should be a good night as I have seen lots of videos from Karen's Diner and they really rip you to bits and are rude etc lol. Plus I've never done a VR thing and it's in my book of things to do so something else to cross off my life list.

I did have plans to go to Royton for Lynne's friend Cathy's birthday drinks at The Barclay but I just felt drained by tea time and really couldn't motivate myself to get dressed just to go for an hour. Lynne wasn't staying long as she's not had much sleep the past few days, so I just chilled instead and had a few games on the PS4 with Fi.
