Great start to the day with 3 appointments all for Newbank Garden Centre to top up their Ziggle baby gifts with some of the new Summer Hants as well as leggings that had been out of stock for a while. I had to go over to Halifax to one of their centers as they wanted me to deal with them rather than have different agents for each shop. Their head office is in my area in Bury so that's how it tends to work. The drove over was lovely and stayed dry the whole time until I got home then the heavens opened.
Driving back from Yorkshire over the tops you could see how empty the reservoirs were due to all the sun we've been having, so I was kind of glad when it rained. Plus it means all the plants will get a good drink today too.
I called at Andy's on the way back and while reversing onto his drive I backed right into a lamp post :-/ Gutted, not had the car month 3 months and already it's damaged. I'm going ot have to ring the insurance and get it all sorted. I hate it when you have something new and it gets damaged :-( I made sure I didn't let it ruin my whole day as there is nothing I can do once it has happened except get it fixed and move on.
Matt did a post announcing my podcast interview on this youtube channel "Make time to talk", which would be going live this week. The first one was today and then there will be more exerpts each day at 6pm with the full episode being posted on Friday. It was February when we did the interview so I have forgotten most of what we talked about, so it will be good to watch them all. I did find it quite theraputic talking through my depression and how I felt at the time etc. I think lots of things tend to feel better once you verbalise them and don't jsut bottle them up and make them bigger in your head than they really are.
Got back home Jay made us both a chicken salad. There was way too much for me so I carefully ate one half of the bowl so that he could save the other half and it wouldn't have been messed with.
