Number 9 in the bag!

Woke up this morning and was really tired so had a bit of a lie-in. It was bouncing down with rain first thing and normally the weather would have the power to control my mood, but it no longer seems to bother me. In fact when it was bouncing down with rain, I was actually glad, because it was filling up my water butt to allow me to water the plants at a later date without using my own water. This not only saves money but also helps the environment, which we all need to do our but for. Plus when I see grey skies now I know I can take Bella to work with me and I'm not having to leave at home or with mum, like I would when it's sunny. So I have gone from only feeling good 50% of my days when it's sunny to enjoying 100% of them regardless of the weather. That's got to be a win :-)

Finished book number 9 of my personal challenge. The Help was a great read and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new book to start.

I started my little personal challenge to myself in February to try and get back into reading so I decided on 12 books in 12 months so that it was a manageable target and didn't feel overwhelming. Now rather than waffle on for about 3000 words I did a video today as I am typing this up and managed to get it down to 1 minute 40 that explains why and how etc. So check out tomorrow's blog if you have a spare 1 minute 40 seconds but if not just carry on reading the rest of my drivel lol.

This is my read books pile so far...

I am also trying to read a variety of different types of books to broaden my horizons, so I am adding any recommendations to my book club on Amazon. Check out the list so far on the link below:-

Both appointments today were in Clitheroe and right next door to each other so it was an easy drive. Also made a 3rd appointment after I'd done so felt like a productive day.

Matt published the 2nd snippet from our interview on his podcast "Make Time to Talk" which touches on my decision to go Alcohol-Free. you can watch it by clicking on the image on clicking the link HERE

The full interview will be out on Friday.

I have an admin day tomorrow so I need to get my mind maps updated to ensure I am doing the stuff that needs doing. I can always tell when I am not on top of things as I start to feel a bit overwhelmed by everything.
