Egypt - Day 6

Spent the morning by the beach and in the sea. To get I. The sea it was a lot of sharp pebbles that seemed to go on for ages. When you liked out to seas there were people hundreds of meters away still only up to their knees so we walked along the jetty instead. Part was down was a kind of hut with steps down to the water where you could swim. Technically it belonged to another hotel but when o told him we were from the UK he said he didn’t mind is using the area to swim.

Met a lady called Martine who I had spotted a few times as she seemed to be on her own but always had a nice energy about her and was always smiling. I told her so and she said it’s because she came away on her own so had no stress. She had made pals with a guy who I want to say was called Stuart but I could have made that up. I was telling her about my glasses hoo ha and she very kindly gave me a pair of ready readers. It was like a breath of fresh air being able to see again. So I managed to read loads of my book.

Eddie had a full service with hair cut eyebrows threading and a facial or and his trotters hacked back to the bare bones lol. He also got stung for some cream that dyed his feet bright pink. Think they saw him coming lol.

While Eddie was being transformed into a new man I sunbathed by the pool. A guy spotted my book and asked if it was good as he had read the secret and the power. I didn’t know about the power so will order that when I get home.

I managed to finish my book ‘The Magic’ back at the room so took it out with us to dinner in my bag with a random act of kindness card. I spotted the guy from the pool in reception so gave him the book and card. He read the card and said he would do the same when he finished it. I felt like he was the right person to have it.

Dinner was much of a muchness but we managed to book the tapenyaki Restu for tmrw for our last night. Stuart said it was the best out of the three A’La Carte restaurants as people had left the Asian restaurant part way thru their meal. Apparently it was Egyptian food but seems like stuff fro the main restaurant just brought upstairs :-/  Let’s hope our last night leaves us with a memorable meal.
