Been awake since about 4am with somebody's dog constantly barking all night. Nobody could sleep through that if that was your dog. I just hope that it is a one-off and that normal service will be resumed tomorrow :-/
Bella is loving the Butternut box dog food and isn't scratching at all now so fingers crossed we've cracked it. She has tried each of the 3 flavours sent and licked her bowl clean every time. The food is quite dry and separate consistency which is what she prefers. She doesn't really like wet and messy food so is a good fit. I also like the fact you can see what is in it compared to the blancmange-type texture of the other stuff she's been having in them Chub rolls. I was originally meant to be going to a 60th birthday party so dropped mum off home so she wasn't sat in mine on her own and could be at home in her own surroundings. By the time I got home I was goosed (from lack of sleep) plus the invite was kinda forced on the poor woman cos we were in the car and my friend Kath just kinda said "why don't you come, that's okay isn't it" so the birthday girl didn't have much choice lol. Plus I read somewhere that if you are ever invited somewhere last minute, then you never meant to be invited. So I decided not to go and just stay home.
Adele and Mike popped around for a coffee and a piece of cake. I made a few small sandwiches while I was waiting for them to come over. The cake is pretty dry to be honest as I left it in too long, but it still tasted good.
